The Yoga Essentials Training offers a concentrated yet comprehensive exploration of yoga’s transformative benefits. Designed for curious practitioners and yoga teachers alike, this program creates space to explore foundational elements of the practice in a supportive learning environment.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice essential yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices that support stress reduction, improved focus, and overall well-being. Through guided practice and discussion, students will begin to understand both the why and the how behind what happens in a yoga class.

This training invites participants to deepen their understanding of yoga while connecting with a community of practitioners who value thoughtful practice and ongoing learning. Whether you are interested in refining your personal practice or expanding your knowledge as a teacher, Yoga Essentials provides a meaningful opportunity to explore the foundations of yoga more deeply.

I finished the 30-hour Yoga Essentials Training at Sharing Yoga and I’m still soaking it all in. 

Five weekends… spent exploring postures, breathwork, mindfulness, philosophy, and real connection. It never felt overwhelming; it quickly became the part of my week I looked forward to most.

I came in wanting to learn more and left with a calmer mind, a deeper practice, wonderful new friends, and so much inspiration. Huge thank you to the incredible teachers for guiding us so beautifully, and to this amazing group for showing up with open hearts and radical acceptance. Every session felt safe, warm, and truly transformative.

I never expected the deeper gifts it would reveal. Along the way, something shifted: my body opened into Bridge and Plow, my arms held me in Crow, and on the final day I got into Headstand, something I haven’t tried since I was a child. In those moments I met a stronger, braver, more trusting version of myself. A gentle awakening I didn’t see coming, and one I’ll carry with me always. 

If you’ve been thinking about deepening your practice but worried about the time commitment, this format is perfect. Completely manageable and 100% worth it.
So grateful I said yes to this journey. Can’t recommend Sharing Yoga enough.
